Pradeep Seneviratne, Founder, President
Founder and former Vice President of Imageware, a global leader in interactive 3D design and visualization software applications. Pradeep has extensive experience in building, marketing and selling software products. He managed Imageware's modeling business unit and led the business development effort of Imageware's major global accounts, including Ford, Mazda, Microsoft, Motorola, Nike, Mattel, Lego, Disney, and Sony Pictures Imageworks. He was also instrumental in engineering many of Imageware's strategic business initiatives including the partnership with Softimage (the multimedia entertainment division of Microsoft), and the sale of Imageware to SDRC in 1998. He received his B.S.E from Princeton University and a M.S.E from University of Michigan.
Dr. Sarvajit "Sarge" Sinha, Founder, CTO
Sarge is also a founder and former Vice President of Imageware. His Ph.D. thesis led to the development of pioneering "Physical to Digital Design" technology for the product design group at Imageware. As VP of Development from `91 to `97, Sarge was responsible for product development. He then moved on to build Imageware's Worldwide Professional Services Group, where he was responsible for all aspects of customer relationships, and was involved in product development and manufacturing process consulting for such clients as Ford, Peugeot, Boeing, Aerospatiale, Daimler-Chrysler and Volkswagen. Sarge has also worked as a researcher for General Motors Research Labs in their Geometric Modeling Group. He has written numerous articles in the areas of Geometric Modeling, CAD-CAM, Computer Vision and Robotics and been the principal proponent of Imageware's technology at academic and industry conferences. Sarge received a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
Nick Coleman, Vice President of Development As Vice President of Development at Campfire, Nick oversees all of the software development, managing a team of in-house developers, contractors and offshore development. He also works directly with the Operations and Sales teams to plan the development Road Map for Campfire. In addition, he is responsible for the design of all new functionality of the Campfire product. Nick brings a wealth of experience to Campfire in system analysis and design and programming logistics in both the warehousing and automotive industries. Nick has a strong background in requirements gathering, design, software patterns, project management, user training and support documentation. He also has extensive experience in major programming languages, operating hardware and software. Prior to Nick joining Campfire, Nick was the Director of Enterprise Architecture for Lean Logistics. Prior to Lean Logistics Nick had started his own company prior to joining LeanLogistics. Nick holds a B.S. in Technical Management from Devry University.
Dr. David E. Cole, Board Member David is a board member of Campfire is Chairman of Center for Automotive Research in Ann Arbor MI. Formerly the Director, Office for Study of Automotive Transportation (OSAT) at Univ. of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, he has worked extensively on internal combustion engines, vehicle design, and overall automotive industry trends. Dr. Cole’s recent research has focused on strategic issues related to the restructuring of the North American industry and trends in globalization, technology, market factors, and human resources. He was formerly a member of the Energy Engineering Board of the National Research Council and the US-Canada Free Trade Pact Select Panel. He is also a director of Original Equipment Suppliers Association, and a director of seven automotive supplier companies. In addition, Dr. Cole is a member of the Executive Committee of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and was recently appointed by the Governor to the Strategic Economic Investment and Commercialization Board and the Michigan Renewable Fuels Commission. He was named a co-chair of Detroit Renaissance’s “Road to Renaissance” Project in the fall of 2006. At Univ. of Michigan, he is a member of the Energy Research Council and the Mechanical Engineering External Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Denso Foundation Board. Dr. Cole was formerly a director of the Automotive Hall of Fame and a member of the Board of Trustees of Hope College. He is active in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), including serving two terms on the Board of Directors. In February 1986, he was named a fellow of SAE. He is also active in the Engineering Society of Detroit and was elected to fellow status in 1990. In 2000, he received the Engineering Societyís highest award, the Horace H. Rackham medal. In 1993, he received the National Automobile Dealers Association Foundation’s International Freedom of Mobility Award. In 1994, Design News selected Dr. Cole as one of eight engineering leaders, and he was also selected to receive Sweden’s Order of the Polar Star. In the fall of 1998, Dr. Cole was named as the Marketing Educator of the Year by the Society of Marketing Executives. Additionally, he received the 1998 Rene Dubos Environmental Award for his contributions to the industrial ecology of the automobile and in 1999, Chevalier of the National Order of Merit from France. Dr. Cole has been actively involved in the start-up of five different Ann Arbor-based companies. Dr. Cole’s technical and policy consulting experience includes a variety of assignments for industry, labor, and government. Dr. Cole received his B.S.M.E. and Mathematics, M.S.M.E. and Ph.D. from Univ. of Michigan.
