Pradeep Seneviratne, Founder, President
Founder and former Vice President of Imageware, a global leader in
interactive 3D design and visualization software applications. Pradeep
has more than 9 years of experience in product management and business
development in the interactive graphics and product design arena. He
managed Imageware's modeling business unit and led the business
development effort of Imageware's major global accounts, including
Ford, Mazda, Microsoft, Motorola, Nike, Mattel, Lego, Disney, and
Sony Pictures Imageworks. He was also instrumental in engineering
many of Imageware's strategic business initiatives including the
partnership with Softimage (the multimedia entertainment division
of Microsoft), and the sale of Imageware to SDRC in 1998.
He received his B.S.E from Princeton University and a M.S.E from
University of Michigan.
Dr. Sarvajit "Sarge" Sinha, Founder, CTO
Sarge is also a founder and former Vice President of Imageware.
His Ph.D. thesis led to the development of pioneering "Physical
to Digital Design" technology for the product design group at
Imageware. As VP of Development from `91 to `97, Sarge was
responsible for product development. He then moved on to build
Imageware's Worldwide Professional Services Group, where he was
responsible for all aspects of CRM, and was involved in product
development and manufacturing process consulting for such clients
as Ford, Peugeot, Boeing, Aerospatiale, Daimler-Chrysler and
Volkswagen. Sarge has also worked as a researcher for General
Motors Research Labs in their Geometric Modeling Group. He has
written numerous articles in the areas of Geometric Modeling,
CAD-CAM, Computer Vision and Robotics and been the principal
proponent of Imageware's technology at academic and industry
conferences. Sarge received a B. Tech. in Electrical
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a
Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
Vijay Gummadi, V.P. Product Development
Vijay brings to Campfire a wealth of experience in developing
complex software solutions for manufacturing process automation.
Prior to joining Campfire, Vijay worked on
challenging research opportunities at Hindustan Aeronautics,
Enabling Technologies Laboratory, Altarum (Formerly ERIM) and
most recently as chief architect at Virtual Access Networks.
His experience in hi-tech startups as well as established
companies provides a unique perspective to architecting, developing
and delivering
leading-edge solutions for complex real-world problems.
Mr. Gummadi currently serves as an Invited Expert to the World
Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative and
the Object Management Group’s (OMG) Manufacturing Domain Task
Force. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Mysore, India and a Master’s degree in Manufacturing
Engineering and Information Systems from Wayne State University, Detroit,
MI.
